You may use the tools and content on this site for personal and commercial purposes, including counting words in essays, generating citations for research, and embedding our widgets on your own site (with the credit link intact).
No warranty
The tools are provided as is. Word counts and grammar suggestions are produced by algorithms that are accurate for most prose but will occasionally make mistakes. Citations should always be checked against the relevant style guide before submission. We do not guarantee fitness for any particular purpose.
