What we have shipped

Phrasit is built in public, in waves of eight to twelve parallel agents. Here is what each wave delivered.

  1. Wave 10263 routes live after

    Dev tools, blog, and Cmd+K search

    • Added six developer tools: regex tester, slug generator, JSON formatter, URL encoder, Base64 encoder, and palindrome checker.
    • Launched the Phrasit blog with three opening posts on citation workflows and embeds.
    • Added five new citation source types for software, video games, mobile apps, Substack posts, and LinkedIn posts across all four styles.
    • Shipped a Cmd+K search palette, a /compare hub for alternatives, and product docs at /docs.
    • Added a cookie consent banner so the site is ready for AdSense review.
  2. Wave 9218 routes live after

    MLA, Chicago, IEEE cheat sheets and a resources hub

    • Added free PDF cheat sheets for MLA 9, Chicago 17, and IEEE alongside the existing APA 7 sheet.
    • Opened a /resources hub that gathers every cheat sheet in one place.
    • Wired the newsletter form to Kit so cheat sheet downloads can capture an email when the owner switches it on.
  3. Wave 8213 routes live after

    Ten more platform character counters

    • Added ten new platform character counters for TikTok, Pinterest, Discord, Telegram, YouTube descriptions, Reddit, Snapchat, Tumblr, Facebook, and Slack.
    • Each platform page now ships a matching guide explaining what fits in the limit and why.
    • Refreshed schema and Open Graph cards so every platform counter shares the same rich preview treatment.
    • Added a social media manager outreach template for librarians and writing centers to pass along.
  4. Wave 7193 routes live after

    How-to-cite guides, word counter use cases, and audience pages

    • Added twelve long-form how-to-cite guides covering books, journal articles, websites, news, YouTube, podcasts, TikTok, tweets, blog posts, PDF reports, ChatGPT, and datasets.
    • Built ten word counter use case pages for the Common App essay, SAT essay, IELTS Task 2, dissertation chapters, LinkedIn articles, and other common word targets.
    • Launched a bibliography converter that exports to BibTeX, RIS, CSL JSON, and EndNote XML for Zotero, Mendeley, and JabRef users.
    • Added five audience landing pages for students, writers, journalists, developers, and marketers, each with a curated tool grid.
  5. Wave 6164 routes live after

    Eight more citation guides, case converter SEO, and a fresh home page

    • Added eight how-to-cite guides for book chapters, magazine articles, conference papers, theses, government reports, court cases, interviews, and films.
    • Added fifteen case converter landings for high-traffic conversions like uppercase to lowercase, camelCase to snake_case, and title case to sentence case.
    • Shipped a full brand icon set, PWA manifest, and section-specific Open Graph cards for tools, study, and writing.
    • Redesigned the home page around live counts from the registry: eighteen tools, four styles, twenty source types, and ten platforms.
  6. Wave 5141 routes live after

    Six more tools, forty-eight citation variants, and the APA cheat sheet

    • Added six new tools: duplicate line remover, sort lines, word frequency analyzer, random word generator, ASCII art generator, and text-to-handwriting.
    • Added eight new citation source types: book chapter, magazine article, conference paper, thesis, government report, court case, interview, and film, all four styles each.
    • Added ten per-platform character counters with platform-specific limits for Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, SMS, WhatsApp, meta descriptions, and YouTube titles.
    • Published the free APA 7 cheat sheet PDF.
  7. Wave 493 routes live after

    Embed widgets, OG art, and the newsletter form

    • Shipped embeddable widgets for the word counter, character counter, reading time estimator, and citation generator so any library or writing center can drop them into a LibGuide.
    • Compressed the Open Graph image and added per-section share cards so previews stay sharp on every social network.
    • Added the footer newsletter form, ready to switch on once a Kit form ID is set.
    • Brought the prerendered route count to ninety three.
  8. Wave 336 routes live after

    Ten writing guides

    • Published the first ten evergreen guides covering APA 7, MLA 9, Chicago, Harvard, essay structure, paper format, common citation mistakes, IELTS writing, resume rules, and reading levels.
    • Added breadcrumb and FAQ schema across all guides so they show up cleanly in search.
  9. Wave 224 routes live after

    Citation generator and study workflows

    • Launched the citation generator with APA, MLA, Chicago, and Harvard support and twelve starting source types.
    • Added the reading level analyzer, essay outliner, and flashcard maker for study sessions that need more than a counter.
    • Wired CrossRef and Open Library lookups so a DOI or ISBN fills the form automatically.
  10. Wave 112 routes live after

    Foundation and the first six tools

    • Opened Phrasit with the flagship word counter, character counter, case converter, text comparator, lorem ipsum generator, and find and replace.
    • Set the editorial visual direction: warm cream backgrounds, moss-emerald accents, and a serif display face.
    • Added the legal pages, sitemap, and robots.txt so the site was crawlable from day one.
