How Phrasit is funded, and how we would handle affiliate links if we ever add them.
How the site is funded today
Phrasit is free and does not require a signup. The tools themselves carry no ads. The site is supported by display advertising on a small number of content pages, such as the home page, guides, and blog. What is and is not collected about you is set out in our privacy policy.
Affiliate links
We do not currently use affiliate links anywhere on Phrasit. There are no sponsored or commission-earning links in the tools, guides, or comparison pages. When we mention another product, such as Grammarly, Zotero, or Microsoft Word, it is an ordinary editorial reference and we earn nothing if you visit it.
If that changes
If we add affiliate links in the future, we will update this page first and label each link clearly where it appears. We would only link to products we have actually used or that have a well-established reputation in writing and education, and a commission would never change a review, ranking, or recommendation. If a product is bad we will say so.
